     La inclusión de las TICs al ámbito escolar, no sólo implica adquirir habilidades técnicas en el uso de las nuevas tecnologías por parte de los docentes y estudiantes, sino que también hace necesario aprender a leer y seleccionar la información realmente relevante y correcta de toda aquella que circula en la Internet. Por otro lado, es importante tener en cuenta qué se hace, cuándo y cómo se utiliza esa información e imágenes en las prácticas docentes. Lo cual significa todo un desafío al momento de planificar las clases, utilizando dicha información e imágenes de forma significativa, crítica y creativa.

    En los tiempos que corren, donde los cambios son vertiginosos y la globalización -gracias a la influencia de los medios de comunicación y las TICs- una realidad, no se puede ignorar la necesidad de aprender un idioma extranjero de uso mundial como el Inglés. Esto hace imperativo dar a los estudiantes los rudimentos necesarios de dicha lengua para un mejor desenvolvimiento en el campo social y laboral.
